*gives riotous applause*
My SO and I were cleaning the house yesterday and he was polishing our collection of figures. When I came upstairs I found that all hell had broken loose.
Batwoman flirting with Death. And Death totally lovin’ it.
Thanos, a grunt is the easiest thing to beat in the universe, don’t look so proud.
Uh oh, Mephisto with a Fuel Rod. Not sure if Cortana’s planning to stop him or help him.
Laurie thoroughly confusing a poor Elite.
Adrian looking very contemplative about a sticky detonator.
My Spartan nicking off with the Infinity Gauntlet.
My SO says they’re hugging. I say they’re fighting. YOU DECIDE.
Q:I wanted to start reading Batwoman and I was wondering if You could please tell me what You think a good introduction would be. I was thinking of starting with JH Williams' New 52 run.
Hi, thanks for the question!
The beginning of the New 52 run is a perfectly good place to start, in all its delicious art-goodness. There’s also an issue #0 about twelve issues into the run that gives you a nice overview of the badass beginnings of Kate Kane/Batwoman.
However, there’s also Elegy, which is widely available because it’s so awesome. This is generally a very nice beginning place for people new to Batwoman, as it gives you the full low down on her beginnings and generally tells you everything you need to know about her. And has the ultimate pairing of Rucka writing and J.H Williams artwork.
Reading this first would also mean you’d get the full impact of the end of #17 in the New 52 run, should you get there ;)

Who is behind the hell beneath Arkham Asylum? Can Batwing and Jim Corrigan hope to stop it before it breaks out and consumes all of Gotham City?
Oooooh. And YES, Dustin is doing the art for the issue. Woo!
